WELCOME
The 19th Annual International Law Enforcement IP Crime Conference, co-hosted by INTERPOL and the Royal Thai Police in partnership with UL Standards & Engagement (ULSE) and delivered by the International IP Crime Investigators College (IIPCIC), INTERPOL Global Academy, will take place from Tuesday, 27 October to Thursday, 29 October 2026, in Bangkok, Thailand. This year’s theme is “Bridging Borders: From Regional Action to Global Impact.”
Launched in 2007, the annual Conference has become the premier forum for networking and operational collaboration in the fight against IP crime and related illicit trade. Each year, it brings together law enforcement agencies, other first responders, and private-sector stakeholders to address the challenges associated with these complex criminal activities.
The 2026 Conference is expected to welcome 450 attendees from more than 80 countries and over 250 organizations. This year’s agenda will feature plenary speakers, expert panels, specialized workshops, recognition of outstanding contributions, and several exciting new additions. Renowned for its unparalleled networking and collaboration opportunities, the Conference brings together law enforcement and cross-sector delegates from around the world.
The program is thoughtfully structured to present best practices, share actionable insights and case studies, and introduce innovative solutions, which will enhance capabilities, deepen knowledge, and build expertise, thereby strengthening investigative and enforcement efforts, expanding cross-border intelligence sharing, and improving readiness to address transnational organized crime, including unsafe counterfeit products, and interconnected illicit trade activities, ultimately, contributing to a safer and more secure world.
Private-sector organizations have a unique opportunity to engage with law enforcement representatives, initiate mutually beneficial discussions on shared concerns, and collaborate on practical recommendations and solutions. The Conference also enables rights holders to participate in meaningful one-on-one conversations with public sector representatives, focusing on investigations, enforcement, training, and fresh approaches to international cooperation.
A highlight of our 2026 Conference will be the return of the Ignite Café, a relaxed, informal networking space designed to foster meaningful conversations and valuable connections. This dynamic environment will bring together law enforcement agencies, first responder organizations, speakers, sponsors, experts, private sector stakeholders, delegates, and INTERPOL specialized units. The Ignite Café aims to spark collaboration, cultivate new relationships, strengthen partnerships, and create opportunities to address the safety and security challenges posed by IP crime and related illicit trade. The Ignite Café will open virtually through our Conference app ahead of the event and will also be available on-site during the Conference.
Hosting the Conference in Bangkok, Thailand, is strategically significant as it serves as an important regional hub for the Asia-Pacific. Bringing together law enforcement and the private sector here underscores the importance of local and regional collaboration in combating IP crime. By convening in Bangkok, the Conference not only strengthens ties among Asia-Pacific stakeholders but also demonstrates the effectiveness of local partnerships in driving broader global impact. This location highlights Thailand’s pivotal role in advancing collective efforts, fostering the exchange of best practices, and enhancing the region’s contribution to global safety and security initiatives.
We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful city of Bangkok.
