BOOKING YOUR HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS
 

The Conference Hotel is the Shangri-La Bangkok, ideally situated along the Chao Phraya River in the heart of the city. The hotel is approximately 40–50 minutes from Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), depending on traffic, and offers convenient access to Bangkok’s central business district, major cultural landmarks, and the nearby BTS Skytrain for easy travel throughout the city.

Booking Details:

  • Room rate: 7,062 THB ($230 USD) per night, including tax
     
  • Reservations must be made online by 1 October.
     
  • A first night deposit will be charged upon reservation. The hotel will ask for an individual credit card as a guarantee. Payment for the whole stay and all incidentals’ charges is due in full upon check out.
     
  • Rates are for single occupancy.
     
  • Daily Breakfast is included in the rate.
     
  • The rate is available from 22 October – 3 November.  If you require dates outside of the block dates, please send an email to delphigroup.slbk@shangri-la.com to make a reservation and mention International Law Enforcement IP Crime Group in the email.
     
  • Cancellation policy:
    • Cancellation before 1 October: no cancellation charges
    • Cancellation between 1 and 15 October: penalty charge equivalent to the first night deposit payment
    • Cancellation after 15 October: penalty charge equivalent to the cost of the entire booked stay
    • Event guests who shorten stay or check-out from the Hotel prior to the end of their reservations will be charged for the duration of their reservations. At any time prior to their reservation check-in times, Event guests shall be allowed to transfer reservations to other Event guests without restrictions or any charges or expenses.
    • No shows will result in full range of stay penalty charge.

TRAVEL
 

Airport: Book your international flight into Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK), Bangkok’s primary international gateway. Some regional and domestic flights also operate through Don Mueang International Airport (DMK).

 

Ground Transportation: Our recommended mode for ground transportation between the airport and hotel is the service offered by the Shangri-La Hotel. You may book your ground transfer when you book your hotel accommodations or you may email reservations.slbk@shangri-la.com to make your arrangements.

We do not recommend using a local taxi service, however, the "Grab" app is a reliable option as well.

 

Passport & Visa Requirements: Visitors to Thailand must hold a passport valid for at least six months beyond the date of entry. Many nationalities are eligible for visa exemption or visa-on-arrival for short stays; however, requirements vary by country. It is important to check the specific entry requirements that apply to your nationality prior to travel through the official Thai immigration website or your nearest Thai embassy or consulate.
